Another New Beginning

I swear I'm a terrible writer... seriously. It yet again another new semester at BYU-Idaho for me. The new BYU-Idaho Center has been dedicated and is now in full-swing.
I'm still getting all my classes situated even though it's been over a week of school now. I had to drop my Microbiology (BIO221) class yesterday, and I replaced it with a Health Communications (HS472) only to find out today that I don't even need to take that class. Oh brother.... So it also turns out that the last day to drop and add classes was, of course, yesterday. This is where my problem started...
I did happen to email a few other teachers yesterday to see if I could get into their class before I added the HS472 class, unfortunately the ones that wrote back said their classes were full. Today I got the email from the professor for Kinesiology (HS365) saying he could authorize me to add his class if I did it right away. Well, turned out he sent it yesterday... just my luck, right? Sooo, after about a million phone calls today telling me there wasn't anything I could do now, I decided to go to the Student Records & Registration office to talk to someone. I think I should have just gone there in the first place, because you know what? The secretary there saved my life! She said I could still get in, the only thing is that the teacher has to authorize you to add the class! You know, I could have prevented a future gray hair if someone had just told me that in the first place! Haha. ;)
Anyways, so all is good now and I just have to go to my new class tomorrow. My hope is that I haven't managed to miss too much and the stuff he started off with wasn't too difficult. Yay for Kinesiology! =P
Other than school stuff, life is just great! I love love love my new ward. Everyone I've met so far has just been marvelous and very welcoming. :)I've been given great roommates, once again. We are constantly cracking each other up. ;) Haha. I'm still living the single life-yay me! Right? Eh, i'm not really too worried about it though. As long as I'm trusting in the Lord, when the right guy comes along I will know! :) -Plus, I love my state-of-mind concerning men. It keeps me happy! "If something doesn't work out with one guy, there's obviously someone better out there for me!" ...DUH! Isn't that how it always is? ;)
Moving on to family life... as far as I know, my family is just doing great! I love them all so much... We're sent to our families for a reason, so we better learn to live with it! My dad joined the military about 2 1/2 years ago to be a doctor for the Army--as well as continuing to be a doctor for his other jobs [Working at an urgent care clinic in Twin Falls, ID, working in the Jerome Emergency Room, and occasionally still flying up to Montana to work shifts in the Libby ER--where we used to live (and where I went to high school at!)]. He is currently in Iraq until the end of March working on an Air Base. So far he really likes it, and everything is going well. We get to talk to him on Skype quite often, so it's not so bad. Of course we'll be happy when he gets home though. :)
Porter and Celeste are leaving us soon though! And that makes me sad... :( Coming this summer, they will be packing up to move to Canada--where Celeste is originally from, and where Porter served his mission. I will miss them a TON, but hey... if it's right, I'm all for it! :)
Well, I think i've said enough for now. I hope everyone is doing well! Until next time... =)
