Party Life

Life is sooo great right now, I can't even explain.
To start with, my birthday was just 4 days ago--on February 3rd. On that night, which was Thursday, we went over to our Bishop's house to play pool and eat cake! I gave my Bishop's wife, Paula, my family recipe for my most favorite cake ever... Dude's Chocolate Cake. So she made it for me! She is seriously the best ever! :)
On Friday night, I had a party at my apartment! There was actually a pretty good turnout too! It was a lot of fun... we ate food, played dancing signs (my favorite game ever!), played mafia, blew out candles, and sang karaoke! It was a lot of fun... especially because of some of the people who came :)
On Saturday night, I went to Lava Hot Springs with a big group of people for mine and my friend Katie's boyfriend, Andrew's birthday. Haha...sorry if that was confusing. Anyways, we caravaned and carpooled and made it up there! It was about a 2 hour trip, but i'd say it was worth it :) Before that though, on Saturday, Julianne, Celeste (my roommates), and I went wedding dress shopping in Idaho Falls because Julianne is "betrothed" and is getting married on June 17th! AND.... we found her wedding dress! Oh my gosh, it is so beautiful. We found it at Margene's Bridal in Idaho Falls... oh man they are good! Haha.... It made me want to get my dress there when I get engaged! lol. Moving right along....
Then on Sunday night some girls in my ward invited me over because they wanted to make me dinner for my birthday! So... I basically celebrated for 4 days in a row! It was great. :) OH!!!! And I almost forgot! On Sunday afternoon, we had a General Authority over to our apartment for lunch! Katie's boyfriend, Andrew Baxter's, father is in the Quorum of the Seventy. His parents came to town this weekend for Andrew's birthday... it was awesome! And so they came over to our apartment to eat lunch. How kool is that?!
Needless to say, this week has been the best birthday year I've probably had thus far. Never before have I celebrated my birthday 4 nights in a row. Julianne was joking that we should just keep it going and celebrate the whole month! Rename Black History Month... okay, i would never allow that to happen. Nonetheless though, it's been pretty epic.
On my birthday, Julianne and Celeste came in and jumped on me at 3:13 a.m., because that's when I was born. It was awesome.. haha. I was half asleep the whole time, but they said that i "giggled" apparently. What a great way to start my birthday. My family and friends are the BEST!
